General information:

• If you have been invited to give a presentation, please prepare your material in accordance with the format and duration guidelines.
• The presentation is required to be submitted by October 30, 2024.
• To ensure a smooth session, we encourage you to submit your materials early. Detailed information regarding the technical aspects of the presentation is provided further down the page.

Presentation form:

1. Duration: no more than 10-12 minutes
2. Clear title and introduction: Start with a clear title for your presentation that reflects your main research topic. The introduction should include a brief background of the topic, the purpose of the study and the main research question.
3. Presentation Structure: Divide your presentation into clear sections such as introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion. This will help the audience better understand the message.
4. Content limitation: Due to limited time, focus on the most important points. Avoid too many details that may overwhelm your audience.
5. Visual Support: Use PowerPoint slides or other visualization software to support your narrative. Slides should be legible, not overloaded with text and contain key information, charts, tables or images.
6. Time for each section: When planning your presentation, allow approximately the same amount of time for each section. For example, if you have 10 minutes, you could spend 2 minutes on each of the five main sections.
7. Examples and data: Provide specific examples and data that illustrate your points. Make sure all data and graphics are clear and easy to understand.
8. Clear conclusions: End your presentation with clear conclusions, highlighting the main findings and their importance for your field.
9. Questions and Answers: Be ready for a question and answer session after the presentation. Be prepared for potential questions that may arise from the audience.

• The deadline for poster submissions is November 10, 2024.
• The poster session as part of the “Science & Business – Common Challenges” conference takes place only online.
• Please follow the guidelines regarding the format and content of posters.
• Submitted posters should be prepared in the form described in the “poster guidelines”

Poster guidelines:

1. The dimensions of the graphic file containing the poster must be 1920×1080 and its proportions must be 16×9 (widescreen format of a computer monitor or PowerPoint presentation slide).
2. The poster must be one graphic file. Slide shows will not be accepted.
3. The font size used cannot be smaller than 10 points.
4. Preferred poster formats: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .pdf.

Audio commentary guidelines:

1. As part of the poster session, we create the opportunity to share an additional version of the poster, along with audio commentary.
2. The duration of the recording should not exceed 4-5 minutes.
3. The uploaded file should be in video format (a movie with fixed graphics and commentary, not a presentation with an added sound file).
4. It is possible to make comments on graphics using MS PowerPoint.
5. The guidelines for graphics are the same as those for a standard poster.

Suggestions

1. When preparing a research poster, include a clear title at the top that reflects the main topic of the study and the names and affiliations of the authors.
2. The poster should be divided into logical sections, such as introduction, purpose of the study, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, arranged in an easy-to-follow manner.
3. The text on the poster must be legible, therefore it is recommended to use a legible font and appropriate letter size.
4. Use charts, graphics, diagrams and photos to illustrate key points, which should be of high quality and appropriately described.
5. Due to limited space, focus on the most important aspects of the study and present them concisely.
6. The design should be simple and professional, with moderate use of color to highlight important sections and elements.
7. At the bottom of the poster, include contact details and additional information, such as publication references or a QR code to the project website.
